Here I will post as much official/OCC figures as possible (everything we can found).
The Official Charts Company (OCC), previously called the Chart Information Network (CIN) and then The Official UK Charts Company, compiles various "official" UK record charts, including the UK Singles Chart, the UK Albums Chart, and the UK Official Download Chart, as well as genre-specific and music video charts. The OCC produces its charts by gathering and combining sales data from retailers through market researchers Millward Brown. OCC claims to cover 99% of the singles market and 95% of the album market, and aims to collect data from any retailer who sells more than 100 chart items per week.
Since 1984, OCC has published (annually) its Top100 best-selling album-acts (with sales-figures). These sales are based on every year's "Year-End Top Album List". (From 1984-1999, they used the Top 1,000 best selling albums, from 2000-2005 they used the top 5,000 & since 2006 the top 10,000.)

Elvis' UK No.1's Outsell Other Artists. During March, 2007, music TV Channel VH1, in collaboration with the Official UK Charts Company, unveiled the 50 best selling male acts in chart history on their show 'The Nation's Favourite #1 Men. Sony BMG's Annual Report for 2002 was issued on March 25th, 2003 where it was revealed that as a result of interest surrounding the 25th Anniversary of Elvis' death, Elvis products had racked up 100 million Euros (equivalent to over 107 million U.S. dollars or 68 million UK pounds) for the company. This came about mainly from the sales of 'Elvis' 30 No.1 Hits' album, the 'Today, Tomorrow and Forever' Boxset, calendars, books and other items. Brian

Thanks Brian, very useful information!
According to the OCC, Elvis Presley has sold 20,663,000 singles in the UK (up to August 16, 2008) - But there are several sources that claims that sales pre-1958 is excluded in this total. Is there anyone here sitting on any information regarding this issue?
Anyhow, I was just looking through Marc Hendrickx Elvis' UK Singles sales-figures. And when taking a closer look at them, they are actually matching the OCC figures quite well (with the exception of The Wonder Of You ), EX:
Jailhouse Rock: OCC = 829,000 Hendrickx = 850,000
It's Now Or Never: OCC = 1,246,000 Hendrickx = 1,250,000
Are You Lonesome Tonight: OCC = 800,000 Hendrickx = 800,000
The Wonder Of You: OCC = 735,000 Hendrickx = 650,000
Regards, Martin
